WHAT IS A MINOR SURGERY?
Minor surgeries are those surgeries that are aimed at eliminating small lesions or skin imperfections and correcting scars from previous surgeries. They can provide a solution to cases of a benign nature and alterations of the subcutaneous tissue.
They are performed under local anesthesia, so after surgery the patient can go home. In the event that the intervention generates some unavoidable scar, these will always be aesthetic, respecting folds and lines of skin tension.
The most common pathologies we treat are:
- skin lesions like warts or moles. They are benign neoformations that can be removed by dermoscopy under local anesthesia by surgery or laser (CO2, Nd-Yag) after correct diagnosis depending on location, number, shape and size.
- Sebaceous cysts. They are small lumps that generally appear on the face under the skin, and have a tendency to grow and become infected periodically.
- Reconstructions of unsightly wounds or scars. These can be improved by laser techniques or eliminated by surgery, infiltrations or new reconstructions with subsequent control of the healing process.
- Lipomas or fat cysts. They are fatty accumulations that generally appear on the neck or back that can be removed with surgical treatment.
- Reconstruction of complete or incomplete torn lobe. Reconstruction of the earlobe can be done even placing the new earring in the same procedure.

CARE AFTER THE INTERVENTION
After the intervention, cures will be necessary that will be carried out by the patient himself at home or by the medical team in consultation. The revisions will be carried out in consultation, their number and frequency will depend on the intervention carried out. All cures, as well as possible secondary treatments, will be treated and supervised at the clinic itself in Santa Pola.
