Nail pathologies (of the nails)
The nails can suffer from different fungi conditions, bacteria, for a bad morphology, for age, for poor footwear and some systemic diseases.
Therefore, we must analyze and diagnose in a global way, taking into account all the characteristics and background of the patient, to make a correct diagnosis and treat properly.
More common nail conditions:
- Incarnated nails (nails stuck).
- Black nails (typical in athletes).
- Thickened nails (very common in older people).
- Fungi (onychomycosis).
